Biography
I was burned out and I was wasting time, watching paint dry on Youtube, seeing a lot of Youtubers doing cool and silly stuff. To name a few: Ten Hundred, Ed Pratt, Thomas Sanders. Uri Tuchman, Simone Giertz, Laura Kampf, Beau Miles, and Black beans CMS.
Luckily for me, I was thrown into Slam poetry by Emma. There I immediately found my voice!
In the storytelling nights it became crystal clear, this is what I love to do. I want to become a storyteller, no wait…. I already am a storyteller!
It has been a wonderful journey, along more slam poetry nights by Labyrinth, and storytelling nights by DISC storytelling.
In 2019 I created my first full A4 page drawing. And I was proud of it.
It was Peter Draws who, while talking about milking almonds, inspired me to start drawing.
Not out of boredom, or anger because this meeting is so boring, but because I enjoy drawing.
I had found a new way of expressing myself…….
One day I visited an exposition in the Kunsthal in Rotterdam of the pillows of Vanscelos.
And I thought: this? this is art?
What does this say about my work? I think it means that my work is art too.…….
So here I was, figuring out this new pathway, being a storyteller, a shaper and a stage animal.
And, being a lover for the limelight, Youtube became the next step. That day it all fell into place.
